I picked Nick up from school for the last time today. Since going to Ramsey Street, I have picked him up every day at 11:30. Today, he had an exam to take at 1 so he stayed at school and then he called me to come get him. He is officially done with classes. Since he doesn't have a 3rd or 4th period, he gets to stay home tomorrow which is the "official" last day for seniors. I am so glad that this chapter is over. Looking forward to the next one.
I am guessing it is a slowish news day at FOX because they are showing continuous coverage of clouds in Oklahoma which may or may not have the potential to become a tornado. Last week they were doing the same thing and actually caught the formation of the tornado that destroyed Moore, Oklahoma. I have mixed feelings about the continuous coverage. I know it is important to the people in Oklahoma to keep an eye on the weather right now but I am pretty sure they have local coverage they are watching & not Shepard Smith. -sigh- I am a bit done with the news these days.
The house is coming along nicely. There are probably a couple of more weekends worth of work to do and then we will be ready to start moving for real and not just carrying things down there one box at a time. I am looking forward to being done with the moving part because moving sucks beyond words.
Heather & Mike should have a new baby boy in the world right about now (or really soon.) I am hoping that things go really smoothly for them. They deserve all the good that can come their way.
I am work tonight and then off for the next couple of days. I am really looking forward to being off too. I have a ton of things to do and there never seems to be enough time to get it all done.
I think I am going to go read a book while I wait for people to come in.
