A little bit of everything

Beth's computer arrived from the service center. I would have received it yesterday but the FedEx man called to let me know that the dog would not let him near the porch. *blink* I seriously thought he was insane until today when he arrived. I was waiting for him for the express purpose of receiving the package and Roscoe seriously went berserk when the FedEx man tried to get out of his truck. I have never seen him act like that. It didn't seem to the man he was barking at but the truck itself. I don't know how to explain it but if you have ever actually listened to one their trucks when it is idling, it has a high pitched whine to it and my baby wasn't feeling that at all. All is well though. I got my package, the FedEx man didn't get gobbled up by the normally docile Roscoe and I discovered that Roscoe actually does have a pretty fierce bark when he is worked up.

It has pretty much rained non-stop since about lunchtime today. It is dark and gloomy and dreary and frankly, really depressing. The rain isn't really increasing the amount of business traffic just yet so I am watching the rain out of the window and listening to the Food Network.

I have tomorrow off, work 12 to 5 on Thanksgiving and I'm off Friday. I am going to clean up my house and cook tomorrow. Do the last minute prep when I get home from work on Thursday and then have supper around 7:30 and Friday, I am going to rest and decorate my house for Christmas. I think I am most excited about Christmas decorating this year because I have plenty of space in which to decorate. Also, I finally have a wreath on my front door. It is probably strange that this simple wreath makes me so happy.

No school for the next few days for the Thanksgiving holiday. I am going to get Elizabeth to help me clean and cook. I am looking forward to spending some time with her.
