Part of the reason I post every day during the month of November for NaBloPoMo is to prove to myself that I can write every day for a 30 day period. The rest of the year, it's hit and miss and mostly a once a week "things I am grateful for" post on Sundays with the occasional Wordless Wednesday thrown in.
I've been writing online for 11 years. I started way back before the medium even had an official name. I've written in a lot of different places, owned more than one domain name and piddled with this format for a really long time now. When Chris got hurt, just over 4 years ago, I really shut myself down in a lot of aspects as I rejoined the paying workforce and life just generally got swamped between work and kid activities and surgeries and appointments for him and then for me. I never really envisioned that I wouldn't pick this back up full fledged but it seems that is exactly what happened.
You ever feel like you are at a crossroads? That's where I am now. Not just about writing but about a lot of things and I don't really know which way to turn or which way is going to be best for me.
Time will tell I guess.
