Could I have some fruit to go with my fruit? I'm on a fruit bowl kick these days and a watermelon one and I think the local grocery store has started making them and putting them out because they know I will come buy them. I've eaten more fruit in the past month or so than I have in years. I'm not sure if the fruit has anything at all to do with it but I've lost 20 pounds. I know I'm eating better and I've given up coffee in the evenings so I'm sleeping better and I'm moving more which are probably all contributing factors but I'm ecstatic that I've lost the weight and I'm hoping it's not a fluke and that I manage to keep it off.
I've decided that all fruit bowls should include strawberries and cantaloupe but that honeydew is simply a filler fruit and no one actually eats it (at least no one at my house). If there is pineapple in the bowl, Elizabeth will find a way to spirit it off and pretend like she has no idea what I'm discussing when I start talking about Encyclopedia Brown solving the case of the missing pineapple. And now I want to read an Encyclopedia Brown book. And Nancy Drew. And the Hardy Boys. I'm showing my age with what I remember probably.
