The first day of school was today. Elizabeth got up, got herself ready and out the door she went. She texted me when she got home since I was at work and she had a good first day. I'm very glad about this. I'm also glad that I was able to get her school supplies and her clothes over the weekend and we didn't have any mama/daughter arguments about what she was going to wear. Plus, we both got our ears pierced and so far, so good. It's early days yet but I'm pleased with how she is handling everything.
I've got a stack of books to read and no time to read them. I feel like I'm in a losing battle with time management here because there is always more to do than there is time in which to do. -sigh-
One day things will even out and I'll be moaning about how much time I have on my hands. I assure it won't be this year.
