Yesterday was a good day filled with laughs and birthday goodness and singing waiters. We had a blast and then laughed our heads off at trying to beat Chris & Nick back home. We almost won which is what was so hilarious to us.
Today has been an exercise in avoiding the news as much as possible because it's the 14th anniversary of 9/11 and I still have trouble with this day all these years later. My heart goes out to all of those who lost someone meaningful and I hope their day was bearable, filled with good memories of their loved ones.
I have made up my mind that I am going to join the church that I have been attending. It was not a decision that I came to lightly. I prayed over it and God answered my prayers through a man named Gregory Cole. I will forever be grateful to him for the conversation that opened my eyes and for him allowing God to use him as the instrument to open my heart.
Mr. Billy passed away last night and I have so many emotions about that. I wish peace for his children and his family.
I finished another book. I have to turn some in and then check them out again to be able to finish the series but I am so into them whole set now that I don't mind doing that at all.
This is the weekend of buses. We have one every day this weekend. This should be interesting. They are always good groups though so I'm not complaining.
I think I am going to spend my days off next week cleaning and reading which is pretty much how I spend all of my days off these days. I hope everyone has a great weekend.
