I have today and tomorrow off but today is really a bust because in a few short hours we are heading to Dublin to attend Mr. Billy's funeral. They said last night more than a thousand people came through for his wake and I just can't imagine.
The woman we just hired less than a month ago gave her notice and so we are going to be short a staff member again. Jessica is probably on her way out the door soon too because of the police academy. That's a great thing for her; not so great for us.
I have managed to finish a couple of books. I'm very much happy with how much time I have dedicated to reading lately. It beats doing nothing or attempting to do everything with the little free time I have.
I talked to the preacher about joining the church and he said the next time we are there he will open the doors for membership. We will be attending this coming Sunday. I also asked him about baptizing Elizabeth and me. He said he would be happy to do that.
I'm hoping to carve out some time for me before my birthday but not holding out much hope.
Going to go get ready. There's a lot to be done this afternoon.
