I *finally* finished reading the 2nd Game of Thrones book and then immediately started the 3rd one because apparently I am a glutton for punishment. I like the books, truly, but I am not a fan of how each chapter is from a different point of view. When you can't read for extended periods of time, you can get lost with the back & forth. Also, George R. R. Martin is brilliant (& wordy).

Speaking of books, I was pretty sure the library had made a mistake when I went to pick up a book I had on hold. I requested Stephen King's Elevation & was surprised when it was a slim novel & not his normal break your arm to carry it book. ;-)

And... Leverage In Death by JD Robb was worth the wait. I finished it in one work shift which is rare these days. Now to wait until February until the next book comes out.
